Nordic Solutions for C40 has the unique opportunity to collaborate with C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group and one of their key programmes: the C40 City Solutions Platform (CSP).
Who are C40?
C40 Cities is a network of 90+ of the world’s leading cities that represent one quarter of the global economy and enables the cities to collaborate, share knowledge and drive sustainable action. C40’s overarching goal is to support cities to adapt to climate change and build resilience. C40 enhances cities’ climate leadership, removes barriers and fosters partnerships to accelerate action on the ground.
What is the C40 City Solutions Platform (CSP)?
The CSP is a not for profit programme that enables cities and the solution providers from the private sector to co-create innovative solutions to climate change challenges.
Nordic Solutions for C40 supports the CSP by bringing in Nordic companies to work on city challenges and projects. Our collaboration with the CSP means that:
- We can position the Nordic region as the lead private sector convener in the CSP city challenges.
- We can offer city challenges and international opportunities to involve leading Nordic companies
- We can insure a strong position for Nordic companies in international business opportunities generated through the CSP.

This project is financed as part of the Nordic prime ministers’ initiative Nordic Sustainable Cities, which is coordinated by the Nordic Council of Ministers with the aim of strengthening the Nordic brand, add value to existing trade promotion efforts through Nordic cooperation and to expand the market potential for Nordic businesses.
