The Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 exempts the political activities of political parties and representatives, however Brad Pettitt MLC and his office value protecting your privacy and follow current Australian best practice guidelines and the spirit and intent of the Privacy Act to ensure your privacy is protected.

This website collects your email address if you submit a suggestion through our City Suggestion Box form, or take our "Which Sustainable City Are You?" quiz. This information is used to keep you updated on Solutions for Cities, Brad Pettitt's book-in-progress, including its publication, and, if this site begins publishing a blog in future, to let you know about new posts.

Personal information provided through this website will not be disclosed to any third party outside Brad Pettitt's office unless:

• the individual has consented

• it is required or authorised by law

• it will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody's life or health

Suggestions submitted through the form (the "problem" or "solution" you write) may be displayed publicly on this site. Your email address is never displayed publicly.

Mailing Lists

Suggestion form submissions, including email addresses, are stored via Google Forms and Google Sheets. Quiz entries, including email addresses, are stored via our quiz platform, Interact. Access to these systems is password-protected and limited to Brad's office.

Website Analytics

This website uses Squarespace's built-in analytics to understand how visitors use the site, including traffic sources, page views and visitor counts. This is collected via cookies and does not identify individual visitors by name.
